SteelFab University

The SteelFab University internship program brings the national resources of our organization to a local level, offering new hires the opportunity to earn while they learn.

The program works with several schools across the country to bring young, eager interns into both pre-construction and shop environments. Designed to give students the knowledge and skill sets needed to be successful in the steel industry, we routinely have interns starting as sophomores in college go through 3 years of internship.

Community Impact

Several of our offices participate in ‘Community Impact’ days, where employees volunteer at a wide range of location-specific functions.

Here’s how we’re doing it:

  • We have LEED-accredited professionals working to set and achieve internal goals that positively impact the environment.
  • Integrated environment-conscious measures are implemented not only in our business practices but the day-to-day operations of all our employees.
  • Our initiative to reduce paper waste, including the use of tablets for our internal processes, has resulted in a 50% decrease in paper use.
